The A-to-G Framework
Seven letters. One path from knowing yourself to reaching your goal.
Most people know what they should do. Few do it consistently. A-to-G is the sequence S Venkattesh Prasanna uses with leaders, sales teams and trainers to close that gap. It began as his own rebuild after the pandemic, and it now runs through the workshops, the coaching and the book.
Awareness + Discipline + Focus = Inevitable Achievement
- A
Awareness
See yourself honestly before you try to improve.
Audit yourself on five fronts: strengths, challenges, opportunities, possible threats and expectations. Then find one person who will tell you the thing nobody else will.
The SCOPE self-audit
- B
Belief and Benchmarking
Your audience hears the belief underneath your words.
Rewrite the inherited limit, then measure yourself honestly, month by month, against your own last result rather than against someone else's.
A monthly 1 to 10 self-benchmark
- C
Clarity, Confidence and Communication
A confused communicator creates confused listeners.
Structure the message before you worry about delivering it. Confidence is mostly timing and preparation. Respond rather than react.
PREP, and the four V's: visual, verbal, vocal, vocabulary
- D
Discipline
The bridge in the middle of the framework.
The same thing, at the same time, every day, until it becomes a habit. Build it on alignment, keep it small, and protect it like a client appointment.
A small daily commitment, held
- E
Effort and Emotional Intelligence
Consistent effort compounds. The effort you avoid is usually the one that matters.
Effort multiplies through the right structure rather than through longer hours. Manage your own triggers with a four-step reset: pause, think or reframe, structure, then deliver.
A four-step reset under pressure
- F
Focus
The deciding factor. Scattered energy arrives nowhere.
Protected blocks of work, an honest sort of urgent against important, and a clear map of where your attention actually goes. Deep focus grows out of deep alignment.
Protected work blocks
- G
Goal-Oriented Growth Mindset
Fixed asks who will give me work. Growth asks what I can do to get it.
The word "yet" turns a verdict into a path. Set the goal, then keep improving after you reach it, and leave every engagement clean.
Goals written down, reviewed
Inside the first letter: the Five A's
Awareness is not a single step. It runs as a loop.
01
Awareness
An honest look at where you actually are.
02
Acceptance
Own it, without excuses.
03
Alignment
What you want and what you do point the same way.
04
Accountability
Nobody else runs your list.
05
Action
The only step the world outside you can feel.
The same spine, three ways in.
